Why does a wedding cake cost more than a celebration cake?

Wedding cakes take days to complete. Each cake is made with premium products and often contains complex flavours. They are all finished with a Belgian chocolate ganache under the couture fondant to ensure a smooth flawless finish.

Sugarflowers, lace and decorations for wedding cakes are often started weeks in advance and take many hours to complete.

The cakes themselves are also deeper than a celebration cakes to provide guests with the perfect finger portion and ensure your cake serves every guest at your wedding.
